I had hacked my environment.rb file to force it into development mode while working on my theme.
I have just switched back to the normal version of the file. Dreamhost defaults Ruby on Rails to production mode now. So, this site should be relitively zippy now.

What is up with all the 500 errors?
I’ve installed this thing normally. I havn’t done anything crazy.
Is there some magic potion I have to sprinkle over my keyboard?

Despite my reservations that i was going to totally shoot myself in the foot, I took the hop into 2.5.8 just now.
It went completely smoothly.
The reason i’m so nervous is just the wasting of 1.3 good days I had set aside for making my theme for the contest.
