      <description>&lt;p&gt;Yes, you DO have to sprinkle magic potions.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;ve had troubles with Rails installations on Dreamhost since they use Apache and fcgi. lighttpd is much more reliable with fcgi.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;In the meantime, you can install a cron to kill your dispatch.fcgi&amp;#8217;s hourly so they don&amp;#8217;t turn into zombies.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
